Rudolf Tancre

TANCRÉ was businessman, natural history dealer and hunter in Anklam and sent collectors to E Europe and Asia (taxidermist RÜCKBEIL). His interests mainly focused on butterflies and birds. He dealt with many European museums and private collectors (HOMEYER E.F., HOMEYER A., KOENIG A.). Main collections came from Turkestan, Issyk-Kul-area. Entomological collections were sold to the museums Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Bonn and London.
