Albert Stewart Meek

His father E.G. MEEK was a natural history dealer in London. MEEK collected in Australia (1888-1893). 9 expeditions led him to British and German New Guinea between 1894 and 1914, 3 expeditions to the Solomon-islands between 1901 and 1907. Results were published by ROTHSCHILD, HARTERT and JORDAN. Most of the Lepidoptera collection went to Tring.
